Q: What does it cost to get a website?

A: It’s a little like pricing a house. In reality, the answer depends on what you need your website to do for you. What features do you need? Custom sites can cost tens to hundreds of thousands. But we’ll try to make this simple for you, our packages begin at $3500 for WordPress blog sites.

Q: Why do you use WordPress?

A: Because it’s easy for our end-users to manage after the design. We are not out to create a custom site that you have to have a designer on retainer in order to maintain. We’re here to empower you, not deliver obstacles. A good performing site is updated consistently. We’d love to provide monthly services to help you do that, but you should have that option, not be tied to it. WordPress gives us a lot of flexibility. We can focus on features you need rather than re-inventing the wheel with each build. It’s stable and search engines like it.

Q: Do you have payment plans available?

A: Yes. We require a non-refundable deposit to begin work. This is usually 25-50% of the estimate depending on the size and scope of the project. Milestone draws are then built into the project plan with a final payment upon delivery.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We use Paypal and Stripe, and we also accept checks and money orders (checks must clear before work begins).

Q: How long will it take?

A: Again this depends on the scope of the project, however, most sites take around 3-4 weeks complete with content and testing.

Q: Do you offer a guarantee?

A: Absolutely we do. If you are not happy with our services just let us know it isn’t working, and we’ll refund any monies paid minus the initial non-refundable deposit and shut down the project, no questions asked. Our goal isn’t to wrestle money out of anyone, but to create lasting mutual partnerships. We want to work with inspiring people to create really great projects we both are thrilled with and proud of. We want work to be serious and fun and inspiring, not horrible.

Q: How do we start and where do we go from there?

A: The first step is to contact us and let us know what kind of help you’re looking for. We’ll contact you with some questions to help us give you an accurate cost and time estimate. We’ll send this to you via email. If you agree to the terms, you will accept the estimate, and pay the non-refundable deposit to get started. At that point we will want to find out everything we possibly can about your project. Don’t worry, we know what questions to ask. We’ll provide detailed project plans and milestones as well as bullet lists of required items from you, such as content or images. We’ll do our very best to set expectations up front so that you aren’t wondering what’s going on at any stage in the process. You’ll get to sign off on the design, and we will implement. Jen will be available for consultation during the entire process. We love every step, from the initial consultation to final testing in every details. Let’s do some work!
